The first thing you'll notice about Point of View is how quiet it is here. We are far from the noise of any highway, come and hear the mighty roar of a buzzing dragonfly.

Owners Dianne Whitney and Andrew Wroble, maintain a tall grass prairie, managed woodland, perennial flower gardens, and hiking trails that offer an ’up close’ touch.

The huge views afforded by the hilltop location make for great weather watching.

Far above the Mississippi River that flows through the valley below, low lying clouds
sometimes appear at eye level.

This is a perfect perch for viewing the beautiful seasonal displays
presented by the hardwood forests of the area.

The surrounding forests have beauty to offer at anytime of the year.

Because of the thousands of acres of woods ajoining the property in the Yellow River State Forest and the Effigy Mounds National Park we get lots of wildlife here at the Inn. Local residents include whip-poor-wills, wild turkeys, deer, coyotes, fox, raccoons, possums, eagles and much more.
