Four Rooms • Each offers a uniquely private view of the spectacular landscape that surrounds the property. Each bedroom has a private bath. Hickory wood floors run throughout the house. Guests have full access to the cupola above and the sunroom joining the great room. The local area is rich with ready access to the Mississippi River, wildlife populations, diverse hardwood forests, and a significant history.
Daily Rates • $100 to $120 per night with a full breakfast included. Grandma's Cottage is $100 per night and breakfast is not included. Kitchen facilities are available. Check in time is 3:00 pm • Check out time is 11:00 am Reservation Policies • Cash, check, or money order accepted. • A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation. • A two night minimum stay is required for weekend reservations. • The house and duplex are non-smoking facilities. • Please, no pets. Cancellations If a cancellation is made ten days (30 days for holiday weekends) or more prior to your scheduled arrival date, you may elect to receive a refund less a 10% handling fee, or apply the entire amount of your deposit toward a future stay within a year of the original reservation. |

Garden Room • An additional private outside entrance and hidden queen size Murphy bed provide intrigue for guests in this room. The private bathroom includes a shower. Tucked in to the front of the house behind a privacy wall, this room is ideal for those that may require an open schedule during their visit.

Prairie Room • The house’s largest bedroom includes a separate shower and whirlpool bath in the private bathroom. A comfortable king size bed allows for restful sleep. The tall grass prairie can almost be touched out the windows and the Mississippi River Valley whispers through the hardwoods that border it.

Cowboy Room •
This room captures sunsets from the second floor overlook. The private bathroom includes a shower and natural light. A queen size bed allows for dreams of cowboy life and adventure. Just off of the stairway entrance, guests will find ready access to the cupola. |

Grandma's Cottage • Located one block off of the Mississippi River in Prairie du Chien’s Fort Crawford neighborhood, the cottage apartment offers self-serve lodging. A fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedroom, private bathroom, and modern amenities allow for a convenient vacation retreat. In walking or biking distance to most local historical features, Grandma’s Cottage will make any stay merge with the area’s heritage.
